The Otter Pop is a progressive  high-performance shortboard specifically designed for wave pools but equally at home in small beach breaks like those found in Southern California.  It offers effortless acceleration and explosive response.

• Outline:  wider overall with a noticeably fuller nose increasing surface area for quick acceleration and glide through flat sections.  The wider tail block adds extra pop and drive, especially in smaller/ softer waves.

• Rocker:  A moderately lifted entry rocker with reduced nose kick promotes efficient water flow and minimizes drag, while preventing the nose from catching in steeper sections. The flatter rocker between the feet maximizes drive and speed down the line, while an aggressive tail kick enhances maneuverability and delivers explosive responsiveness in the pocket.

• Bottom Contour:  flat in the nose to a healthy amount of single with slight double concave through the fins.

• Floatation/Rails: Slightly increased foam distribution under the chest and off the tail enhances paddle power and helps generate and maintain speed through weaker sections. Slightly flatter deck with a lower volume rail provides a balance of response  and control, allowing for easy rail to rail transitions without sacrificing speed.
