Asymptomatic

Inspired by the work of Matt Parker from Album surfboards, the Asymptomatic is an example of what is possible when you are not constrained by the status quo of the surf industry.  Asymetric boards have a feel uniquely their own which can be difficult to articulate.  A common misconception is that they only go one way or that they feel like a twin fin on the front hand and a quad on the back hand.  In reality they take everything we love about twin fins and quads and mash them up to achieve the long sought after combination of feeling noticeably faster and looser than the typical modern surfboard.

Ride it 2-5" shorter and 1/4" to 3/4"wider than your average shortboard.

Outline: Parallel outline paddles extreely well and gives the distinct feel of projection.

Rocker: A modern rocker profile with lower entry and moderate kick out the tail.

Bottom: Deep single concave to keep it lively.

Rails: Low round rails combines sensitivity with forgiveness .

Tail options: Swallow tow/squash heal, swallow tow/bat heal, swallow tow/moon heal.

Fin options: Twin fin on the toe side, quad fin on the heal side

Optimum wave size: 2-8' faces.

Recommended Ability: Novice to Advanced.
